View from the Bridge was painted from sketches and photographs taken from my latest visit to Monet's Garden at Giverny. A dreamlike quality was intended and the distant trees draw you away from the bridge and deeper into the garden. The wisteria hangs over the bridge in graceful racements, and the air is sweetly perfumed with their scent as they gently sway and rustle in the light summer breeze.
This is a large painting and would make an excellent statement piece and the painting continues around the edges so framing is optional.
The painting is signed on the front, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
