Contemporary Impressionism.
Summer on the Pond was painted from sketches and photographs taken from my latest visit to Monet's Garden at Giverny. Blue lupins in the foreground take the focal point but the lily pads lead the eye across the pond to the far bank.
This is a large painting and would make an excellent statement piece and the painting continues around the edges so framing is optional.
The painting is signed on the front, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
