Contemporary Impressionism
Sheringham park is one of my favorite local places to visit and one spring I took my sketch book and camera and collected reference material for painting back at the studio. Although Sheringham park is more well known for its beautiful rhododendrons I was inspired by this lovely composition of a path leading to a little stile with trees and yellow gorse.
This contemporary painting continues around the edges so there is no need for a frame. Signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
